CONGRATULATIONS NEIGHBOR BONUS WINNERS!

This fall Common Cents challenged all participating Penny Harvest students and their families to harvest together.  The goal of this contest was encourage families and children to make connections in their communities as they gathered pennies.  For every five neighbors they approached, student were eligible to send in an e-mail entry to the Neighbor Bonus contest, increasing their chances of winning a Barnes & Noble gift card. 

Participants from New York City, Seattle and The Capital Region of NY flooded the Common Cents office with entries.  The entries revealed many new and creative ways for harvesting pennies.  For example, one family reported visiting 40 neighbors; one took their Penny Harvest Bags to a resort in PA; and another decorated milk cartons and brought them to five local businesses!

We randomly selected 10 winners to receive a Barnes & Noble gift card, and they are:
