Capital Region 07/08 Penny Harvest is now underway! Good luck to all our new and returning schools! Veeder and Roessleville Elementary Schools are mentioned in South Colonie Central School District Newsletter. There was one Neighbor Bonus winner from the Capital Region of NY, read the full story to find out who it was. Local organizations join forces to bring the Penny Harvest to the Capital Region! For those of you who may have missed our October 3rd training at Corporate Woods, pleaae give our office a call to arrange some one on one or over the phone training.

Next steps . . .

Now that you attended the professional development session you should be ready to jump right in to this year's harvest.  Here are some next steps to keep in mind.

- Talk to your principal and colleagues about the kickoff assembly.  Remember, you'll want the whole school to do the Wheel of Caring!

- Assemble your student leaders and prepare them to harvest first before the kickoff assembly.

- Secure some bulletin board space or come up with other ways to keep the whole school informed throughout the harvest!
