The Philanthropy Roundtable builds connections between students, the school and the community. As students consider the communities they belong to and become more aware of the issues that affect these communities, they often select issues of global significance.
To enhance the learning about global issues, Common Cents has highlighted different issues of global significance to provide educational resources and partner organizations for Penny Harvest students to become educated, make grants and take action around the global issue.
We invite you to click on the global issue areas below to find resources and lesson plans on past global issues. Encourage your students to examine the current state of these issues and what they can do to help. No global issue has been selected for the 2010-11 school year.
